I can confirm that I purchased the complete King Arthur package on GoG and tested that method all weekend here and had not one single crash. To anyone interested, it seems there is a way to fix this game, but sadly, it appears that the way to do that is to have the game on GOG as their games are DRM free and allow the modification of files to make the.
